I love the underdogs
those that there’s no hope for
the thought to be perennial losers
the seeming never do wells
who utterly surprise everyone
when they triumph in amazing
never expected ways

like a loser who becomes a winner
like a coward who becomes a hero
and oh how I love it when I see
them in movies and in real life
hail to the triumphant underdogs
my all time favorites in this world
