about another female teacher
arrested for student sexual abuse
makes me wonder what causes this

I’ve been listening to old Art Bell shows,
and I’ve gotten hooked on them.

I like how Art Bell was interested in the
paranormal and life after death.

Since he died in 2018, I wonder what
he found out.

And I’d like to meet him when I cross
the threshold from life to death.

There are bed tents for sale now.
You can buy them on Amazon.
They’re not just playrooms for kids.
They’re tents for grownups too.
I think they could keep people warming
in winter and save on electrical costs.
You’d just need extra blankets and
two Japanese hot water bottles.
The tent would hold the heat in,
like people in tents in cold weather.
And the hot water bottles would suffice
as an excellent source of heating.

I never could get into camping,
bugs and beasts not for me.
The worst to me is having to
relieve one’s self in the woods
without a bathroom’s amenities,
like a toilet and toilet paper
And not being able wash myself
with a warm bath or a shower.
I don’t see camping as fun.
I see it as a deprivation of the
conveniences of civilized life.

I meet women in dreams all the time,
often alluring women I’m attracted to.
Sometimes romantic feelings arise with one,
but I wake up knowing I’ll never see her again.

These dreams of women have got me thinking.
I’d like to meet a girlfriend in a dream some night.
I imagine she’d be like an angel in the afterlife,
and that we’d be together forever when I died.

The group saw the UFOs glittering in the sky
they cheered and yelled hello hello hello
the UFOs flashed green lights at the group
incinerating them into ashes upon the ground

I hear the werewolf’s howls coming closer to me
I hope I’m safe in my home with the doors barred
in case my home is not werewolf-proofed enough
I have holy water and wolfsbane just in case

As a teenager I worked in a greenhouse
with a younger Puerto Rican kid who believed in diablo
I didn’t; he said go in the woods at night and call him
he got the best of me, no way was I going to tempt fate

When a man is looking for the perfect
woman for him,

she does not exist.

He may get lucky and find one that
comes close,

but she will not be the perfect one.

Likewise with the perfect man for
a woman,

he doesn’t exist either.

Best you can do, man or woman, is find
a good one,

and hope she or he is perfect in loving you.
