I never believed in werewolves
Until I took a casual stroll
One night in the peaceful scenic
Country Park in Greensboro, NC.
I’d hiked the trail once before
But not in the dark of night
When the moon was full and bright.

I don’t know what possessed me
To hike there after dark that night.
I remember a tall, muscular guy
Wearing a hat with a light on it
Jogged by me and said hello.
I perceived he ran a lot in the dark
To be wearing a hat with a light.

Minutes later I heard godawful
Howls shattering the peace of
What had become an eerie night.
I heard the cracking of bones,
The gnashing of teeth and saw
Werewolves tearing the jogger
Apart in the full moon light.

Distracted, they didn’t see me
As I ran the hell out of the park
And will never go there again.
I thought about reporting the
Incident to the police, but
changed my mind when I
knew they’d think I was crazy
Or a suspect when they found
The jogger’s mutilated body.

So I buried the tale in the depths of
My mind, but once in a while
That horror resurfaces in me,
And I tremble and nearly pass out.

Angelo loved his collie dog he named Skip.
His troublesome neighbor hated barking dogs.
Skip was a quiet dog, rarely barked
Except one night when a burglar
Tried to break into Angelo’s house,
Which woke the neighbor up and
Despite the circumstances, pissed him off.

The next day the neighbor gave Skip a biscuit.
An hour later Skip threw up and was so sick
Angelo raced him to a vet who discovered Skip
Had been poisoned and tried to save Skip’s life.
His efforts failed, and Skip died on the examination table.
Angelo, a mafioso, had seen the neighbor give Skip the biscuit.
One week later, the neighbor mysteriously disappeared,
Much to a pig farmer’s sated pigs macebra delight.

he used to fancy Asian women

he used to fancy Asian women
their sizes, their exotic looks
then he met one and
they got married
he was happy until
he took her to America
and she made friends
with other Asian women
whose husbands had
more stuff than him
and the Asian woman he
fancied who wasn’t
about having a lot of stuff
became materialistic like
a sellout and the marriage
and his fancying her
fell clean apart and he never
fancied Asian women again

Saw Yama in a dream last night.
Believe me you want nothing to do with him.
Demons look like kitty cats compared to Yama
And horrors those fangs scarier than Dracula’s
He was standing on a garland of burning flames
He had a glowing danda in his right hand
I wondered if he planned on beating me
For some infractions I’d long forgotten about
Some uncooked seeds in my crores of karma
I saw the rope noose dangling in his left hand
I feared that the most for I knew he used it
To seize souls who were going to die and
I imagined he’d drag me to some Hindu hell
To my surprise, he frowned and apologized
He said sorry I forgot you’re no longer a Hindu
I got your present and past lives mixed up
I thanked the Christian God thinking maybe
He interceded and set that terrifying deity straight

She had a thing for me
I didn’t have one for her
She said she was a vampire
Way too creepy for me
She said one day I’d be hers
Sorry won’t happen, said I
She wasn’t deterred
Too crazy to gave up
Granted she was hot
But hot and crazy
Just don’t work for me
She sent me a card
In the mail one day
Said she loved me
And I would be hers
Next day hung herself
To a horrible death
Saw her in a dream
Not long after that
Hideous as hell
Woke up cold and
With the shakes
And two puncture
Wounds in my neck

She had a paranormal feeling about her
The villagers who knew her saw the proof
When the witch hunters came for her.
She uttered a powerful curse and
The witch hunters turned into blazing flames,
Their charred bodies, smoking remains.
She had her psychic eyes on Raymond,
A predatory Roman Catholic priest.
With her second sight she saw
He had raped a local deaf woman,
Who was also mentally ill, and he
Had molested two altar boys
And was lusting for more victims.
She had no respect for his religion
She followed the ancient ways
And she consider the Catholic
Priest’s church a house of hell
Because of his devilish crimes.
She performed a vengeance ritual
That commanded the night skies.
That night a lightning bolt stuck and
Killed the priest and other bolts
Stuck his church, and it went down
In monstrous burning flames.

Shaivite sadhu ascetics
Dwell in graveyards
Meditate on corpses
Smear cremation ashes
All over their bodies
Eat the flesh of dead
Aging preventative
They faithfully believe

Use human skulls
For decorations
Macabre by choice
Drink alcohol
Smoke cannabis
Believe embracing
Darkness and
Social taboos

Are the ultimate ways
To higher consciousness
Non-Duality aka Advita
Enlightenment aside
God forbid if
They get ahold
Of your corpse

Hiking in a National Park
she heard a man yelling, “help me! help me! ….”
She looked all around the area where the call came from,
but no one was there and the calling continued.
She reported the mysterious pleas for help
to a park ranger, who heard it too
but couldn’t find the source of the voice.
After the voice ceased,
Searchers and scent dogs arrived at the scene;
No trace of anyone was found.
An expert on missing people and the paranormal
said, “It’s simple. The man walked into a portal.”

In the Autumn of 1507 in Stirling, Scotland
an Italian-born abbot, John Damian de Falcuis
studied birds in flight and believed he could fly.
He fashioned the feathers of eagles into wings
he wore on his arms. Clad in the makeshift
flying machine, he leaped off Stirling Castle.
For a moment, he hovered in the sky
as if, like a bird he really could fly;
then plummeted seventy feet to
the hard, merciless ground. Miraculously,
he survived, woke up in a doctor’s urgent care,
with many injuries and a shattered thigh bone.
He never could walk properly after that,
and he stayed out of the sky.
