He said he had no fear when he boldly
entered the forbidden hollow.
They warned him of invisible monsters
that lurked in the hollow at night.
Poppycock, he said and marched into
the darkness of it laughing.
A scream minutes later, and he was gone
and has never been found.
But sometimes at night folk say they
hear his invisible cries for help.
