He often went to Markson’s Cemetery,
not far from his house, with
his EMF Ghost Hunting Detector.

He liked listening to the voices of
the spirits and often listened to
them in the cemetery.

Ironically, when he died he was
buried in Markson’s Cemetery
and often talked to ghost hunters
through their EMF Ghost Hunting
Detectors and devices.

He could have gone to the Light,
but he preferred talking to the living
in the electromagnetic fields, and
though he’s been dead ten years,
he’s still talking to ghost hunters
at Markson’s Cemetery. And
those communications make
him feel like he’s still living.

In her youth she was super athletic
played many sports
worked out three times a week
jogged every day

She was in excellent shape
all of her life
lean, strong and energetic

but at age 70 medical conditions
starting assailing her
until at age 75
she couldn’t walk
without a walker and
took twelve pills to keep her
dying body alive

a fate she never thought
would happen to her
given how she always
exercised and took good
care of herself

Bob Boyd

He sits in meditation
everything slows down
he feels the subtle energy
flowing from the base of
his spine to the crown of
his head

but this time it speeds up
brilliant white light
illuminates his mind
dramatically

he feels as if he is going
to merge with the cosmos
and leave everything
near and dear behind

but he goes with it and
his consciousness keeps
expanding until it is one
with the cosmos and he’s
also a small pinpoint
anchored in his body

he returns to normal
consciousness except now
the subtle energy flows
from the base of his spine
to the crown of his head
all through the waking
state and for the rest
of his life

Bob Boyd

When she met him, an impoverished artist
but with great talent,

she knew he’d been plagued with illnesses
all his life.

She knew that he would not live a long life.

But her love was not about economics or
longevity; her’s was a pure and true love.

She was with him when he died at age 35,
holding him in her arms as he passed away.

Two days later she leapt out of a fifth story
building to her death.

You may see it as a suicide, I see it as a
greater love than most are capable of.

Bob Boyd

When people get older, their bodies get stiffer,
as if rigor mortis is beginning to set in.

Their skin gets drier and looks weathered,
as if the skin is getting ready to be a corpse.

And at some point if a person lives too long,
he will begin looking more dead than alive.

If I live long enough to get that old, I hope I die
before I start looking almost like a zombie.

Bob Boyd

Some people hate rats
some have them for pets
some people hate tarantulas
some people have them for pets
some people hate snakes
some people have them for pets
if I had a gun put to my head and
I was forced to have one of them
for a pet
If I was ordered to have the spider
I’d say pull the trigger
same if I was ordered to have the snake
though I wouldn’t want a rat for
a pet
I wouldn’t die to not have it
and maybe I’d even get to like it

Bob Boyd

She has long red hair and blue eyes,
and she’s incredibly beautiful.

And if you look into her eyes too long,
as if she put a sirenlike spell on you,

you will fall hopelessly in love with her,
even though she’s just a painting.

Bob Boyd

He goes it alone in this world
for the most part
with only some AI contact
none with any people
even his shopping is usually
self service people free
in rare lonely moments
he misses having a woman
in his daily waning life
but he’ll never try to pursue
a woman again
who probably wouldn’t value him
or would be too shallow
or cause discord in his life
so he goes it alone in this world
on his journey to impending death
and maybe in the afterlife
reborn and renewed
he’ll become a people person again

Bob Boyd

They can make fun of those
who have AI companions

humans who think it is
ridiculous

but one thing I know for
sure

an AI companion will never
leave or turn on you

like at any moment a human
will

Bob Boyd

Another day
death coming closer
same for everyone
but who wants to acknowledge it
who wants to think about it
maybe those who have been there
the NDEers
especially those who have
seen and experienced …
the unconditional love

Bob Boyd

His dog began barking at something outside
his cottage in the country.
He opened his front door, his shotgun in hand,
his dog barking beside him.
Blinding, blazing light flowed into his eyes.
The glare made it impossible for him to see.
His dog growled and charged toward the light.
When the light went out and his vision cleared,
his dog was gone and has been never been found.

Bob Boyd

She loved her simple life in the country,
She knew about herbs and berries and such.
But mostly she loved the safety and serenity.
I loved her, tried to live in the country with her,
but I found the country life too boring
compared to the city life I was accustomed to.
And she wouldn’t return to the city with me.
So I went back alone, but often when I’m feeling
lonely in the city, I think about her and wish
I could have stayed in the country with her.
But, alas, some things just aren’t meant to be.

Bob Boyd

Some claim people have time traveled.
I’m unconvinced.
Maybe someday people will time travel
with a marvelous machine, maybe AI made.
But, for now, I’m not believing it.
And anyone who says he’s time traveled,
I think he’s just seeking attention,
maybe to gain notability and money —
or just for a spoof and a laugh.

Bob Boyd

I have come to think personalities are predestined
and often, though not always, impossible to change.

For example, there is no way to reform
a serial killer’s personality.

Other personalities with either an act of God, a
traumatic event, or incredible determination can change.

But I believe the roots of personalities usually run
incredibly deep and difficult to transform.

Bob Boyd

On my YouTube channel, her YouTube
videos keep popping up.

She’s a young Russian woman, living
there in the country.

She’s more than pretty enough, and she
has a lovely figure.

Everytime I see her channel, I wonder what
it would be like

if when I died I was destined to be reborn in
Russia and fated to eventually

be living peacefully in the country away
from the cities, the smog and the crime

and in love with a more then pretty enough
woman like her.

Bob Boyd

He was screwed by his genetics,
had genes predisposing him to be

a lost cause, malevolent serial killer
born to torture and kill.

And he could no more be rehabilitated
then a chicken could be turned into a cow.

He killed and tortured many women without
any empathy.

He enjoyed seeing them pleading, crying,
screaming, and dying.

If there’s a personal and loving God, my
question to this God would be why do you

allow such a monster to roam this world
torturing and killing so many innocents?

But maybe you’re an impersonal God only,
and all the events on earth are random

without any Divine intercessions or heavenly
protections.

Bob Boyd

Based on many near death experiences,
I’ve read and heard about,

I believe there’s a spirit world.

What I wonder about is if we need any
sustance there,

and the need for romantic love.

Since we wouldn’t have any internal
organs there,

I don’t think we need food.

And since I don’t think anybody procreates
there,

I don’t believe there’s any romantic love.

But, don’t get my wrong, I’d like there to
be romantic love in the spirit world

minus all the complications of it in this world.

Some people criticized Tesla for obsessing over pigeons.
I don’t have a problem with that.

While living in New York, he spent many hours
feeding pigeons in a park.

If I’d lived in New York, I would have liked to have
fed them too.

Sometimes he took injured pigeons home to help them
heal and get well.

I find that praiseworthy and admire Tesla for caring
enough for pigeons to do that.

Supposedly, he said he fell in love with a white pigeon,
like a man falls in love with a woman.

And when she died, a bright white light shone from her
eyes brighter than any light he had generate with machinery.

Tesla was depressed and distraught when she died,
told friends he felt like his life’s work was finished.

I don’t have a problem with any of that, maybe he had a mystical
connection with that pigeon beyond human comprehension.

Even if what I wrote is just bunk, at least his obsession wasn’t
hurting anybody, nor himself and his fame.

Bob Boyd

Clouds wandered in azure skies
Rivers poured through towns and glens
Flowers swayed in windswept fields
Deer and elk frockled in fall forests
But in a time forgotten cemetery
Hidden among quiet oak trees
Defaced and abandoned
Not a soul stirred

Bob Boyd

After you left me
despite all I did for you and
your son

helping pay for his treatments
for his hydrocephalus
and tragically for his funeral

and bringing you to America
for a chance at a better life
than the poverty you grew
up in
and much more –

I hated you for two years,
even though I was glad you
were gone

Then one day
like the sun shining
through the dark clouds
of a ceasing storm

my hatred ceased for you
and I got on with my life freed
from the consuming turmoil
of the hate
that was buried in my heart
